The colors in these remind me of the colors you see in the early morning, before the sun peeks up above the horizon. I started with these beautiful lampwork headpins. These were made with a base of ivory and raku melted in. Above them I added a sterling silver bead cap, gem grade, faceted iolite, hematite disks, a petrified dinosaur bone fossil rondelle and topped it all off with a faceted hematite bead. I oxidized the copper from the headpin. They hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. I can oxidize those as well if you prefer. The earrings hang down for a total length of about 2″ (5.1 cm).
